HULU Cafe Alam Budiman

This place is a MUST-visit! I've been here on Monday & I am in LOVE with the cozy and aesthethic cafe setup. All the foods & drinks are so yummy. I've ordered Italian Truffle Carbonara Shrooms, it was tasty & creamy. The Matcha Noir Croissant so gooooood it gives you thumbs up! I bought Ichigo Matcha Misu & Hulu Refreshing Iced Hand Beaten Honey Lime for drinks, and guess what??!! Both drinks is so tasty & refreshing. Also, I get to buy Italian Truffle Mushroom Soup & Garlic Bread for only RM 9.90 when I bought any 1 drink. So cheap & affordable!! Your staffs is so attentive & friendly. They served the foods with TLC. Thank you Hulu Cafe Alam Budiman. Surely will come again with my fams & friends.

Visited the café that’s been all over my feed and yesss… the hype is real The Matcha Noir Croissant was perfectly crispy and such a treat, while the Spaghetti Truffle Carbonara came creamy and rich (a little indulgent, but sooo worth it). Paired them with Strawberry Matcha that was just right, not too sweet and not too bitter The whole place has this cozy camping vibe that makes it super chill to hang out, and the staff were genuinely so friendly and welcoming. Definitely a spot to lepak, unwind, and enjoy good food with good vibes

I enjoyed the playlist that the cafe played. The korean cafe playlist gives a chill and enjoyable vibe. It has nice ootd & hangouts spots. The staff were helpful and guided us through ordering. We didn’t have to wait for so long to get our foods either. Italian Truffle Carbonara Shrooms Creamy pasta with pleasant amount of truffle smell and flavour. I keep on thinking about the taste even after 2 days of having it. The portion is big and it suits for those who are coming with a hungryyyy stomach Rikyu Matcha Noir Croissant Unique croissant with matcha filling. To my suprise, the matcha filling is okay for me. It doesn’t have those weird seaweed matcha taste. Ichigo Matcha Misu (Matcha strawberry) It looks aesthetically pleasing for the gram! If you like matcha that is leaning towards a sweeter strawberry, it is definitely for you.

This is a MUST-visit! I’ve been to their cafe many time, love how cozy and aesthetic cafe setup. Nice place to take a lot of pic <3 I got their Rikyu Matcha Noir Croissant, Rikyu Matcha Fluff and Espresso Fluff, it is very nice. Combination of coffee and coconut surprisingly was great. Gonna repeat again!!!

Came here for the matcha, and honestly.. I didn't expect the food to be great! Yummy! A must for matcha lovers, please go and try their Rikyu Matcha Misu (Strawberry matcha). I loved the carbonara, it was creamy and my comfort food! Will definitely will come back for this and not to forget, the rikyu croissant (charcoal croissant with matcha cream fillings), perfectly flaky and crispy, notoverly sweet. Sedap sangat. Ambience is nice, with cozy vibes. Perfect to hangout with friends and family. Just wish they could improve the chairs a little and add more seating option, other than that, love this cafe!

Visited Hulu Café Shah Alam recently and overall it was a decent experience. First plus point – parking is plenty and free, which makes the place very convenient and hassle-free. We ordered the hazelnut chocolate drink and vanilla chocolate drink. Both were just okay, not too sweet, but they didn’t have that rich, indulgent chocolate taste we were expecting. Nothing really special or hype worthy. Even though we ordered the large size, the cups felt more like regular portions, so it didn’t quite feel worth the upgrade. For food, we tried the truffle carbonara and pesto pasta. The truffle carbonara was the highlight of the meal – creamy, rich, and full of flavor. Really satisfying if you enjoy truffle dishes. The pesto pasta was slightly on the salty side but still delicious and well prepared. We also ordered the truffle fries, which were tasty and nicely seasoned, and the pop hash brown – that one was really nice and crunchy, a simple but enjoyable side. The bill came up to RM120+ for two people. It felt a bit pricey overall, probably because of the truffle mushroom items. While the food quality was good, the drinks and portion sizes didn’t fully justify the price for me. In short, Hulu Café has a nice ambience, good food, and very convenient parking, but it’s slightly overpriced for what you get.

I recently tried three dishes. Italian Truffle Carbonara Shrooms, Ichigo Matcha Misu, and the Rikyu Matcha Noir Croissant, and additional of Latte and Egg Benedict Sourdough (because they are just too good). Each one left a memorable impression. Italian Truffle Carbonara Shrooms This dish was absolutely delightful! The creamy egg sauce gave it such a rich and velvety texture, perfectly coating the pasta. The truffle aroma added that extra touch of indulgence, making every bite incredibly satisfying. A true comfort dish for truffle lovers! Ichigo Matcha Misu The presentation was as beautiful as the taste! I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn’t overly sweet, the balance between the earthy matcha and the fresh strawberry flavour was just right. It’s light, refreshing, and so easy to finish in one go. Rikyu Matcha Noir Croissant The croissant was wonderfully crispy on the outside and filled with a rich, aromatic matcha cream that melted perfectly in every bite. I love how unique this creation is. It’s not every day you find a croissant infused with such deep matcha flavour. Definitely a must-try for matcha enthusiasts!

Rikyu Matcha Noir Croissant The croissant was crispy and the matcha filling was a lot and very tasty. I enjoyed it. Ichigo Matcha Misu The dessert looked nice and the mix of matcha and strawberry tasted fresh and sweet. Italian Truffle Carbonara Shrooms The pasta was creamy and had a good truffle smell and flavour. It was very enjoyable. I look forward to returning and trying more items from your menu soon.
